Job Summary:

Manage internal and external programs.  A Program Manager may be asked to manage several projects. Efforts range from managing short term small internal projects to large multi-year government programs. Daily direct interaction with the business development team, engineering team leads, upper management, and external customers. Efforts are primarily for DOD customers, maturing technologies from TRL 5-6 through TRL 8-9.  

Essential Functions:

  • Must be highly-motivated, flexible, organized, and willing to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Keep track of efforts as they move through their life cycle
  • Day to day management of efforts from conception to completion including management of schedule, scope, resources, documentation, risks
  • Regular generation of progress reports for reviews by management and external customers
  • Lead meetings, both internal and external
  • Risk analysis and risk management
  • Issue tracking and resolution
  • Represent customer needs and ensure they are met or exceeded
  • Coordinate software, hardware, flight testing, and system verification and validation
  • Integrate company values (improve, create, character, care and communicate) in carrying out job responsibilities
  • Other duties as required 


Proficient in using office suite software such as MS-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Experience managing teams of people using indirect and direct influence. Experience interfacing with DOD officers. Able to follow verbal and written instructions and upgrade written instructions to improve processes. Ability to keep and analyze detailed records. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to see big picture relations between programs and projects and drive new programs to leverage past results and concurrent efforts in an efficient manner.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage all aspects related to assigned program. 

Minimum Requirements, Education, Certifications

Bachelors Degree and 10+ years experience. Masters Degree preferred.

10+ years interacting with DOD. Experience with DOD radar systems in an operational environment including Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Moving Target Indicator (MTI) and Coherent Change Detection (CCD). Experience in multiple forms of ISR data analysis. Prior military experience beneficial.  

Essential Physical functions and Working Conditions

Work performed in an office environment. Occasional testing outdoors at DOD ranges. Some light physical effort required. Able to lift 20 to 50 pounds.   Regularly required to sit or stand, reach, bend and move about the facilities.   Up to 20% travel required.   Noise level in the work environment is low to moderate.
